Hosting
This website is hosted by an external service provider within the EU (Hetzner Online GmbH, Germany). The data collected on this website is stored on the hoster's servers. A data processing agreement has been concluded with the hoster. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in secure and efficient provision).
Cloudflare
For secure and fast delivery we use the content delivery network of Cloudflare Inc. (USA). Traffic between your browser and our website is routed through Cloudflare's network, which also helps to fend off malicious traffic. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR. Data transfer to the USA is based on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
Server Log Files
The provider automatically collects and stores information in server log files that your browser transmits: browser type and version, operating system, referrer URL, host name, time of request and IP address. This data is not merged with other data sources. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR.
Cookies and Consent
This website only uses technically necessary cookies. The self-hosted cookie consent tool (vanilla-cookieconsent) stores your choice in a first-party cookie; no data is transferred to third parties. The administration area (/admin) sets a session cookie relevant only to logged-in editors, not to visitors. You can withdraw your consent at any time via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer. Legal basis for non-essential cookies: Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR (consent).
Fonts
Fonts are hosted locally and served directly from our server. There is no connection to third-party servers (in particular not to Google Fonts); your IP address is not transmitted to third parties.

When you contact us via the inquiry form, we process the data you provide (name, email, phone, desired yacht and period, message) to handle your inquiry. The data is stored in our database and sent by email to info@irisyachtcharter.com. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR. The data remains with us until you request deletion or the purpose ceases to apply; statutory retention periods remain unaffected.
Contact by Email, Phone or WhatsApp
When you contact us by email, phone or WhatsApp, your details are stored to handle your request and are not passed on without your consent. For WhatsApp (WhatsApp Ireland Ltd.): communication is end-to-end encrypted; however, WhatsApp receives metadata. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) lit. b or f GDPR.
Embedded Videos (YouTube)
Where videos are embedded, this is done in enhanced privacy mode (youtube-nocookie.com) and only after your explicit consent. Without consent, no content from YouTube (Google Ireland Ltd.) is loaded and no connection to Google servers is established. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR.
SSL/TLS Encryption
For security reasons this site uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by "https://" and the lock symbol in your browser's address bar.
Storage Duration
Unless a more specific storage period has been stated, your personal data remains with us until the purpose for processing ceases to apply. Upon a justified deletion request or withdrawal of consent, the data is deleted unless statutory retention obligations apply.
Your Rights
You have the right at any time to free information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipients and the purpose of processing, and a right to correction or deletion. You have the right to restriction of processing, the right to data portability, and the right to withdraw a given consent at any time with effect for the future. In the event of breaches of the GDPR, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.
Right to Object (Art. 21 GDPR)
Where data is processed on the basis of Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR, you have the right to object at any time, for reasons arising from your particular situation, to the processing.
